How To Embed Adsense Ads In Blogger Posts

Often, we want to embed our Adsense code at the desired place in and around our blogger post. For example, if you want to place an ad just below the heading of your post, it does not give you that liberty to do it. There are few simple techniques that enable you to place these ads at the location you want it to appear. Save your template Before implementing any changes in your template, it is very important to save it. In case some mishap occurs you can easily restore your original template. How to test adsense ads without creating invalid impressions

How do I test adsense ads without any fear of invalid impressions? Those who are adsense publisher would understand that it requires a lot of testing and retesting before arriving at that perfect layout for your ads. This testing might lead to a lots of unwanted impressions (that are against adsense TOS). Here are the two ways, I test my adsense ads without fear of invalid/excess impressions. 1) Use images exactly of the same size of the ad you are going to use. Pick the adsense images  here . 2) Many a times you might want to check the layout rendered after the actual javascript is executed. Add a parameter google_adtest = “on”; to your  adsense code  and place it where you want to intend to put the actual code. For ex: If your adsense code is- <script type=" text/javascript "><!-- google_ad_client = " pub-**************** "; /* 200x200, created 08/08/08 */ google_ad_slot = " 12345678 "; google_ad_width = 200; google_ad_height = 200; //--...

New Android Trojan that can record voice calls

Image
If you are using a smartphone with Android, then you need to be on the guard. A researcher with Computer Associates has spotted a Trojan for the Google Android platform that is capable of quietly recording user's phone calls for possible misuse at a later stage. This is not the first time that Android has had a problem with Trojan applications. In the past too there have been instances where cyber criminals have gotten hold of a popular Android app and modified it to include a malicious payload. After that the infected app gets re-uploaded at the marketplace. As soon as a user downloads the infected app, his or her device becomes ready to share all kinds of details with the Trojan’s creator. Text messages, call and contact information, and, as the present case has show, even complete audio recordings can get leaked. The Trojan records audio in AMR format. This is a recent malware that targets the Android platform. This Trojan like many typical social engineering Troj...

How to password protect a share folder on domain

Image
If your looking to password protect a shared folder on your network / domain, you've probably noticed that Windows XP doesn't have any built in features allowing you to lock access to a folder via a password like previous Windows releases did. This means that anyone using the same workgroup or domain can access the files within your shared folder. But nothing is impossible, good news is that there is a work around ,the trick and simply involves creating a password for the guest account no third party software needed. Since shared folders are accessed on the network using the guest account, once the password for the guest account is set, a user in your workgroup or network domain must supply a valid username and password for the guest account to access the shared folder and contents within. Password protecting a shared network folder : Log into Windows XP as an Administrator Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts , then click on Guest Account and make sure i...

Arrow keys scroll instead of changing cells in MS Excel

Problem Notified. Arrow keys scroll instead of changing cells in MS Excel Today I opened up Excel and stumbled up with problem. When i tried to move across cells with the arrow keys. Instead of moving across cells, the page was getting scrolled as if I was hitting the scroll bar with mouse. The active cell did not move, it would just scroll off the page.  Enter and tab key combination was still work to move the cell down/to the right, respectively (and shift enter moves up). When I go into a cell and try to enter a formula, it still scrolls instead of moving to the reference cell when pressing the arrow keys (but I can select the cell with the mouse). I played with the options but there was nothing that I could find. Does  anyone experienced this before? Any advice would be appreciated. Answer: The symptom above is Behavior of Excel when scroll lock is ON. When scroll lock is On; you can not not change the cell with arrow keys instead it will scroll page.  c...

How to mount ISO in solaris & resolve error (iso is not a multiple of 512)

Many software packages download are in the form of an ISO image. Rather than burning the image to a CD-ROM to access its contents, it is easy to mount the image directly into the Solaris file-system using the lofiadm and mount commands. Given an ISO image in /export/temp/Compusoft.iso, a loopback file device (/dev/lofi/1) is created with the following command: #lofiadm -a /export/temp/Compusoft.iso Output      /dev/lofi/1 The lofi device creates a block device version of a file. This block device can be mounted to /mnt with the following command: #mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/lofi/1 /mnt These commands can be combined into a single command: #mount -F hsfs -o ro `lofiadm -a /export/temp/Compusoft.iso` /mnt Sometimes when you convert image from .nrg to .iso & converted image is not a multiple of 512 bytes. lofiadm refuses. Unmount and detach the images Use umount command to unmount image: #umount /mnt Now remove/free block device: #lofiadm...
