Google Acquires Music Service Songza for $39M
Google is boosting up its digital music offerings with the acquisition of A music search engine and internet jukebox Songza, said to be for an affordable deal of $39 million. The technology giant will eventually look to integrate the service — which helps users to select the right music according to their mood — into Google Play Music. Google said it is not planning any instantaneous changes to Songza and users will be not affected by the acquisition, at least for now.
